Randy Shigetani

Randy Shigetani is a senior coordinator supporting the Washington State and US Charters strategies. With over 16 years of experience at the Gates Foundation, he oversees the full lifecycle of the team’s investments, leads projects that advance strategic goals, and contributes to continuous process improvement. Randy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington. Shaped by years of coaching youth sports and a deep interest in psychology, he is passionate about empowering individuals to achieve their full potential while cultivating teamwork and accountability.
