Limitless Learning Network

Building connections, sharing knowledge, and strengthening postsecondary pathways across Washington state
The Limitless Learning Network brings together 26 local partnerships across Washington state to collaborate, share best practices, and develop innovative solutions that help students successfully transition from high school to postsecondary education.
Between the 2023-2027 school years, Limitless partnerships convene in person and virtually to learn from one another, explore new ideas, and strengthen their local work. Through this statewide network, practitioners are building the knowledge, relationships, and capacity needed to ensure every student has access to the opportunities they need to design the future they want.
The challenge we’re addressing: Nearly 90% of Washington’s high schoolers say they want to continue their education after high school, but today only 50% of graduates enroll in postsecondary programs. Limitless exists to help close this gap at a local level, one partnership at a time.
Education Northwest serves as the Limitless Learning Network manager, bringing nearly 60 years of experience in Washington state and extensive expertise in postsecondary access, managing learning communities, and advancing educational equity.

Who participates in Limitless
The Limitless Learning Network is designed for practitioners who lead programs supporting students’ transitions from high school to postsecondary education, including college and career readiness directors, higher education enrollment staff, school counselors and advisors, educational service district staff, and nonprofit organizations providing advising and college access support.
These practitioners are exploring ways to strengthen partnerships, use data to understand student needs, and implement effective strategies to increase postsecondary enrollment—with a particular focus on students who face the greatest barriers to opportunity, including Black, Latino, Indigenous, rural, and low-income students.

How limitless works
Cross-regional learning
Partnerships come together for in-person convenings twice per year and regular virtual sessions to share what’s working and learn from technical assistance experts on evidence-based strategies.
Topic-focused working groups
Members collaborate in smaller groups focused on financial aid completion, high-quality advising, and dual credit access—developing shared tools and deepening their expertise.
Partnership development support
Each partnership receives $25,000 in flexible funding each year and dedicated support from Education Northwest to strengthen local collaboration and implement strategies tailored to their regional context.
Data and continuous improvement
With support from Sankofa Consulting and other partners, partnerships build their capacity to collect, analyze, and use data to understand student needs and refine their programs.

Momentum grows: Limitless Year Two results
The Limitless Learning Network’s second year showed strong growth, with practitioners deepening their expertise in evidence-based solutions and nearly all partnerships collaborating across regions to advance student success. Year two data reveals that partnerships are translating learning into action, with significant increases in both financial aid completion efforts and advising strategy implementation.
